How do you get people to try on a sneaker that hasn’t been released? For the release of the new UltraBoost 19, we gave customers the opportunity to try on sneakers via an AR lens. We deployed a team of Adidas running ambassadors to the streets of NYC and LA and dropped Adidas ad’s in sneakers shops, including competitor’s stores.
The AR Drop showed up like a digital flyer from Adidas and once you clicked the button it opened up the experience that let you try on UB19s just by pointing your phone at your feet.
